Engineering Enrichment Program

This engineering enrichment program is designed for middle and high school students seeking hands-on, real-world exposure to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The course introduces students to the engineering design process through engaging, project-based learning experiences that develop creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Students explore a broad range of engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, civil, and computer engineering. Through activities like designing prototypes, building models, coding basic programs, and testing solutions, participants gain practical experience in how science and math are applied to solve real-world challenges.

The curriculum emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and iterative design. Students work in teams to tackle challenges such as robotics, structural design, circuits, and sustainable technologies, while also learning foundational concepts like physics, materials, and systems thinking. Many projects culminate in presentations or demonstrations, helping students build communication and presentation skills.

This program also introduces students to potential career pathways in engineering and technology, providing mentorship, exposure to industry tools, and insight into future academic opportunities. Enrichment programs like this go beyond traditional classroom learning by offering advanced content, mentorship, and real-world application of skills.
