Extracurricular Activities
Extracurricular activities offer opportunities for students to learn the values of teamwork, individual and group responsibility, physical strength and endurance, competition, diversity, and a sense of culture and community. They provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and are part of a well-rounded education.
At CHEC, we offer several extracurricular opportunities on a variety of days and times to meet the needs of as many families as possible.
Monday Fundays
Students K-6 have their own day on Mondays from 9:30-12:30 to play sports (including soccer, kickball, jump rope), participate in art (painting, drawing, crafts), and learn theater basics (including improv, storybook theater, acting classes). These drop-off sessions are just $75 per student per 4-week session.
Acro Tuesdays
Join our weekly acro class for balance, coordination, strength & flexibility training… or just to have fun! Our Tuesday drop-off activities from 12:30-2:30 are located at That’s Dancing in Lake Worth. Activities include an acro class (beginning and intermediate) and an all-level chess club in 8-week sessions. Price per student in grades K-12 is $200 per session.
